figaro figaro figaro

It's been my tradition to do brunch on Sundays (even though some people call me an old woman for that) and I usually have a friend to go with, but not today. It was just me and a magazine... and my camera.

Figaro is a quaint sidewalk cafe about 2 blocks from my apartment that also sells little bakery items and some nice desserts inside; most of the seating is outside. I've become obsessed w/ French cafes and especially Eggs Benedict. I've always been a scrambled eggs-type of girl but lately I always seem to order poached eggs of some form, sitting atop an English muffin. I never thought I'd actually enjoy eggs with the yolks running out but I tend to change my mind about things quite frequently.

They serve the juice in a wine glass, which is the best way to drink juice, of course.

The ketchup is also served in a discreet little pot, much more attractive than a massive HEINZ ketchup bottle sitting upside down on the tiny table.
